Remove your personal property BEFORE vacating a rental!

Take your Personal Property with you!

How many days do you have to retrieve your personal property after you have vacated a rental property? In Arkansas, the answer is ZERO!

Under Arkansas law, when a lease has been terminated, all personal property left in or around the rental property is considered abandoned and may be disposed of by the landlord. The landlord is not required to “hold” the personal property for an ex-tenant, or even give the ex-tenant notice that the property will be disposed of.

So, be sure to TAKE IT WITH YOU, WHEN YOU GO!!

Read Ark. Code Ann. § 18-16-108 – Personal property left on premises after termination of lease.
